My musical journey began at 12 when I first sat at a drum set and discovered an innate talent for music. Hungry for melody, I switched to piano at 17, teaching myself by ear and immersing myself in Chopin, Rachmaninoff, and Scriabin. I practiced 8 to 12 hours daily for a year, then spent many years unable to find a place to live with a piano, and then at age 25 a severe wrist injury forced me to stop playing entirely.
It took a decade of healing to fully return to the piano. While the injury left me with technical limitations, it opened new creative pathways. I can't read notes, I just go into a flow state and feel the music. There's nothing like the vibration of strings through your body, the soft touch of ivory keys, it is a full-body, immersive experience sitting at a real piano.
This healing journey, deeply influenced by my connection to nature and the outdoors, sparked a career shift. After overcoming my own health challenges, I now dedicate myself to helping others find their path to wellness at Living Energy Wellness, combining my background in software engineering with everything I've learned about healing along the way.
